Why I Use "Good News for You" |

As a pastor and as a missionary, I have found the “red book” to be one of the best tools for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with lost men and women, boys and girls. Why? - This tool is easy-to-use. Is that really important? Yes. The challenges of the truth and the Gospel are significant! This tool keeps the focus on what is really important…how to have a personal relationship with God! The fill-in-the-blank format engages the learner with the Word of God. When a person comes to Christ through this study guide, they are automatically trained to share the Good News!
- This study guide emphasizes in word and in practice a very high view of Scripture. In plain English this approach leads a person to understand what the Bible says about how a person can trust Jesus as personal Savior and Lord.
- With the ever-changing face of America, I can purchase copies of “Good News For You” in many different languages! As local churches continue to “go” to the uttermost parts of the earth, this tool can be used by most volunteers.
- Taking seven weeks to explore the topic of salvation from the Bible gives me a tremendous sense of peace that I have done all I can to share a complete picture of salvation.
“Who is using Good News For You besides church planters?” Pastors and leaders of existing churches are using this tool to lead home Bible studies. Church Missions Teams are learning how to use this tool to better understand church planting in other nations. A widow is using this tool to lead a Bible study at a nursing home. Crisis Pregnancy Center volunteers are using this tool to share Jesus with their clients. Tim Pruit
